Slop Detector

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Slop Detector (the "App") or visiting our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App or website.

Slop Detector is developed and operated by Fluidity AI ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Slop Detector is an AI-powered nutrition tracking application that allows users to:

Scan food items using their device camera to receive AI-generated nutritional analysis
Track daily calorie and macro targets based on personal body goals
Earn experience points (XP), gems, and streaks through gamified daily quests
Participate in social leaderboards and friend challenges
Chat with Coach Slop, an AI nutrition coaching assistant
View a personal gallery of scanned meals

Some features are available only with an active Slop Detector Pro subscription.

3. User Accounts

To use Slop Detector you must create an account via email/password or a supported third-party provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

4. AI-Generated Content & Accuracy Disclaimer

The nutritional information, calorie estimates, and health classifications ("slop" vs. "healthy") produced by Slop Detector are generated by artificial intelligence and are estimates only. They are not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any AI-generated output. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine.

Non-food objects scanned through the app will be identified as "NOT FOOD" and will not receive a meaningful nutritional analysis.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Slop Detector Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, processed through Apple's App Store via RevenueCat. By subscribing you agree to Apple's payment terms.

Free tier: Limited to 5 food scans per day
Pro tier: Unlimited scans, full Coach Slop access, and exclusive features
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy
Prices may change with prior notice

6. User-Generated Content

When you scan food and share it through the social features, you grant Fluidity AI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App to other users (e.g., on leaderboards and friend feeds). You retain ownership of your photos. You may not share content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm other users
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the App
Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App
Circumvent scan limits or gamification systems through unauthorized means
Share false or misleading nutritional information

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings screen in the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fluidity AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including damages related to nutritional decisions made based on AI output.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
