Fluidity AI ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use Slop Detector (the "App") or our website.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: Email address and password (or third-party auth token) used to create your account
• Profile & body data: Age, gender, height, weight, activity level, and body goals you enter during onboarding or in Settings
• Food photos: Images you capture or upload for AI nutritional analysis
• Social content: Your shared food stories visible to friends on the leaderboard
• Coach Slop conversations: Text messages you send to the AI nutrition coach

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Features you interact with, scan history, quest completions, XP earned, streak data
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and App version
• Subscription status: Whether you have an active Slop Detector Pro subscription (managed via RevenueCat)

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide the core App features: food scanning, calorie tracking, and nutritional analysis
• Personalize your daily macro targets and calorie goals based on your body data
• Generate your gamification progress (XP, gems, streaks, quests, leaderboards)
• Enable social features such as friend leaderboards and shared food stories
• Power Coach Slop conversations with relevant context from your nutrition history
• Process and manage your Pro subscription
• Improve the App's AI models and user experience
• Send important service communications (e.g., account security)

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

• Supabase: Our backend database and authentication provider, used to store your account, body data, scan history, and social content securely.
• OpenAI / AI providers: Food photos and text messages are sent to an AI API to generate nutritional analysis and coaching responses. Photos are not retained by the AI provider beyond the request.
• RevenueCat: Manages your subscription entitlements. They receive a pseudonymous user ID and subscription status.
• Apple: Payment processing for your App Store subscription.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights, we may disclose information to authorities.

5. Food Photos & AI Analysis

When you scan food, your image is transmitted to our AI processing pipeline. The photo is used solely to generate a one-time nutritional analysis. A compressed reference of the scan result (not the full original photo) may be stored in your personal gallery within your account. We do not use your food photos to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

6. Social Features

When you enable social sharing, your food scan results (including meal name, calorie count, and a thumbnail) may be visible to users who follow you on the social leaderboard. Your username and stats (streak, XP level) are visible to friends. You can control your social visibility in the App's Settings.

7. Body & Health Data

Body measurements (height, weight, age, goals) are used exclusively to calculate your personalized calorie targets and nutritional recommendations. This data is stored securely and is never sold or shared with advertisers. You can update or delete your body data at any time in the Settings screen.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (via Settings → Delete Account), we will delete your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability

10. Children's Privacy

Slop Detector is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure cloud storage via Supabase with row-level security, and authentication tokens. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
